The Revista Ecuatoriana de Medicina y Ciencias Biológicas provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public, supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. The REMCB is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to authors, readers or institutions.

The REMCB publish under the terms of a  Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial 4.0 Internacional License  which permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
