Abstract

The prostate is an organ dependent on the genital system but, on the other hand, its semiology is mainly urinary; For this reason, when considering the surgical solution of prostatic lesions, their topographical and functional relationships with neighboring organs should be taken into account, whose alterations determine the appearance of symptoms that are confused for functional reasons of a neighborhood. For this reason, in the diagnostic study, the characteristics of the lesion from which the etiology of the syndrome derives, and finally, its repercussion on the rest of the urinary system, must be clarified.
