Root compressions in the lumbar spine

Abstract

In the statistics of admission to Social Security assistance services in Quito, the problem of low back pain presents a high percentage. In the etiopathogenesis of this syndrome, root compression is recognized as the final cause; but, in general, there are a series of predisposing and determinant factors that progressively lead to the establishment of this clinical picture.
