In recent years, a special interest has arisen in the so-called autoimmune diseases, in which antibodies specifically directed against the antigens of certain organic structures appear. The list of conditions that are recognized as such, such as Hashimoto's disease, or in which there are well-founded reasons to suspect this etiology, such as ulcerative colitis, is expanding day by day.
