Abstract

Infant parasitism has a wide distribution throughout the world, especially in countries of tropical and subtropical zones; and less frequently, in temperate or cold areas.


The parasite, which is a living being, animal or vegetable, spends part or all of its existence on the surface or inside of another living being, biologically more developed than it and at the expense of which it feeds, constituting a constant threat to the health of the organism. host and giving rise to parasitic diseases.
