Abstract
Today, electrophoretic techniques are widely accepted in routine clinical and research laboratory work as a highly valuable adjunct in clinical diagnosis. Since Tiselius, techniques have been perfected that today are of great help to general practitioners and specialists.
Knowing that in diabetes there is an alteration in the metabolic process of hydrocarbons and that it can also cause a functional liver disorder, the investigation of serum glycoproteins in this type of patients is of interest.
