The Revista Ecuatoriana de Medicina y Ciencias Biológicas uses interoperability protocols that allow other distribution systems, such as digital repositories and harvesters, to harvest information through the OJS platform. This system incorporates the OAI-PMH (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interoperability protocol in order to obtain different formats for metadata. Metadata formats: Dublin Core; OpenURL, MODS3.4, MARC; MARC21; RFC1807.
